Themes built like software,
not like templates.

Most themes are a layout with settings bolted on. We build them the other way round — composed from blocks a merchant actually controls, on the platform's own primitives, documented page by page.

Work

Signal

For brands that sell in drops

A theme for apparel and gear labels working in limited runs — where a product is a release, not a restock. Hard-edged, typographic, and built so a merchant can rebuild the product page without touching Liquid.

  • 21 product-page blocks, reorderable in the editor
  • Wishlist, product comparison, quick view, fit finder
  • Subscriptions with allocation-accurate pricing
  • Predictive search, size guides, back-in-stock alerts

Approach

Four decisions we don't revisit.

01

Composed, not hardcoded

Product pages are built from Online Store 2.0 theme blocks — title, price, variant picker, buy buttons, inventory, each one a block a merchant can reorder or remove in the editor. No developer required to change a layout.

02

Written for the platform

Standard Storefront Actions for cart updates, the official recommendations API, native selling plans, pickup availability, speculation-rules prefetch. Platform features instead of reimplementations that drift out of date.

03

Updated in place

Interface updates morph the DOM rather than rebuilding it, so focus, scroll position and in-flight transitions survive. It removes a whole class of bug instead of patching instances of it.

04

Documented before shipped

Every setting, section and block is written up against the source, not from memory. A merchant should never have to guess what a toggle does.
